Don't Shop Alone

Trinity assists meeting the needs of our local community through our “Don’t Shop Alone Campaign”. Every month we designate a specific local agency to collect items of greatest need such as food, personal care products, and household cleaning supplies. A notice is published in Trinity’s Weekly Updates identifying the Agency for the month and Trinity members are asked to place donated items in the outside deck box or baskets located inside the church. The local organizations we currently support are: Hope Clinic, Unified, Emmanuel Food Pantry, Peace House and the S.O.S Center. Watch our Weekly Updates to learn about the agency we are supporting that month then “Don’t Shop Alone!”

Be3 Monthly Recycling Collection

Big, Bodacious, Bold (Be3) is Washtenaw County’s Lutheran congregation action team. Our Be3 representatives host a monthly collection of the following items:

  • Styrofoam (clean and dry; NO tape and NO food residue)

  • Prescription bottles (clean and dry, labels removed, and tops screwed on)

  • Batteries (alkaline only; NO lithium and NO rechargeable)

  • Foil chip bags (clean and flattened)

The collection takes place in the church's upstairs lounge on the first Sunday of every month for the 30 minutes prior to 10am worship service and for the 30 minutes following. Help us reuse/recycle these items so we can keep them out of the landfills. Let’s keep working together to take care of God’s creation!
