Trinity is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

As our name suggests, we believe in the one God who has been revealed according to Holy Scriptures in three forms: Creator, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Word of God incarnate, through whom everything was made and through whose life, death, and resurrection God fashions a new creation. In the person of Jesus we encounter God’s central call to love God and love all people.

The Bible is the living word of God which addresses people in every age with the promises and call to follow God. We read scripture in light of literary, source, and historical criticism to best understand and interpret God’s Word for us. God’s promise, through Jesus is forgiveness of sin and resurrection to new life. God’s call is to love God above all else and to love others with the love we have received from Jesus.

We confess the ecumenical creeds of the church, Apostles, Nicene and Athanasian. We celebrate the two central sacraments of the church, Baptism and Communion. All are welcome to join in our celebrations of Communion.

We welcome all people into shared worship, learning, acts of service, accompaniment and hospitality. Membership is open to all Christians who find themselves called to full participation in Trinity’s life in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
