Barb Daniel, Director and Teacher

Director and teacher Barb Daniel is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti with a BS in K-8 Education and MA degree in Reading Education with an Early Childhood endorsement. She taught at the St. Luke Lutheran preschool for thirteen years and served nine years as the director/teacher. She has been responsible for the expansion of the program at Trinity and has served on the staff since 1995.

Nancy Baldus, Teacher

Nancy attended Eastern Michigan University where she received a BS degree in Education. She is certified to teach regular education through 6th grade and special education through 12th grade. Prior to Trinity, Nancy worked with emotionally-impaired and visually-impaired children. Nancy has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1988 and has been a member of the Preschool staff since 1998.

Amy Kachinko, Teacher

Amy attended Kutztown University and Wilkes University; both located in Pennsylvania. Amy served as a preschool teacher at Little People Daycare for eight years. She also worked with school aged children in their “before & after” school program. In addition, Amy has served as a nanny for infant and preschool aged children. She has also worked as a special education paraprofessional with Ann Arbor Public Schools. Most recently Amy has served as a supervisor at a health & rehabilitation center in Ann Arbor.
